Consumer withdrawal information

This notice is relevant where a user is an EU/EEA consumer purchasing 7-day access to our online communication service. Any exceptions or local variations require actual legal review; the operator does not sell goods under this service contract.

General 14-day right

In principle, a consumer entering a distance service contract may withdraw without giving a reason within 14 days from conclusion of the contract, subject to statutory exceptions. This draft does not suggest that merely opening a seven-day chat instantly removes all consumer withdrawal rights.

Immediate performance

If you expressly request the service to begin before the withdrawal period ends, we can make your 168-hour communication window available immediately. If you withdraw after we have already begun performing the service at your express request, a legally permissible proportional amount may be payable for services provided until withdrawal. Under applicable rules, the service exception for fully performed services may end the right only where the relevant legal conditions, including prior express consent and acknowledgment where required, are satisfied. A 7-day continuous access service is not necessarily fully performed at the instant chat is unlocked.

I understand that I may have to pay proportionally for service supplied before a valid withdrawal and that my withdrawal right may be lost once the service has been fully performed, where the legal conditions apply.

Display clear total price, VAT treatment, 168-hour period, trader identity and withdrawal notice before the buy button. Never precheck. Persist timestamp, terms version and checkbox state. Deliver confirmation in a durable medium as required. Do not apply consumer-specific withdrawal mechanisms to demo payments as if money were paid.
